A Fairyhill Wedding
This summer I had the privilege of photographing John and Zoe’s Wedding at Fairyhill, Gower. It was a beautiful wedding, and I loved being a part of it. It was made all the more special because Zoe is a friend of mine. It’s was such an honour to be there for her and John on one of the happiest days of their lives.
Bridal Preparations
Zoe got ready at her home, with her Bridesmaid, and her parents. I always love the buzz the morning of the wedding, so much excitement.

Groomsmen Preparations
John and Zoe chose my Platinum package, which includes a second photographer in order to enable Groosmen preparation photos. My associate Hannah Richards worked with me on this wedding, and it was amazing to have her there alongside me for the day. As well as enabling photographs of the Groomsmen getting ready, a second photographer means you will get a much wider selection of candids at the reception, and it means photographs during the ceremony can be taken from multiple angles without us having to move around too much during the service.
The Ceremony
The ceremony was held at St Mary’s Church in Rhossili. A very lovely, traditional church in stunning surroundings. Zoe’s nieces were her flower girls, and John’s nephew was one of his best men, and the ring bearer. Zoe’s dogs even came by for a visit and some photos at the end of the service. It was lovely their families could be so involved. The service was full of wonderful traditions, and beautiful personal touches, which all made for a very moving ceremony.

The Couple’s Portraits
With the ceremony being at Rhossili, it made the perfect backdrop for couple’s portraits. There were even a few of the amazing sunflowers left too. We also made the most of the stunning grounds at Fairyhill for some additional photos too. Can all weddings have swings from now on please?
The Reception
I was so impressed with the venue at Fairyhill. It really has been made perfect for Weddings. From the stunning surroundings, to that incredible glass reception room, and to the little touches like the swing on the lawn, to those fake sheep!
John and Zoe’s reception was full of laughter and love, and so many personal touches. The Bride’s sister-in-law, Sofia Morgan, did all of the calligraphy and watercolour art work for the seating plans etc, Zoe’s Dad, Neil Morgan, did all of the graphic design, and John’s Mum, Elizabeth Morgan, made all of the jam for the favours. Such a talented family!
John and Zoe named each of the tables after their Grandparents who are no longer with us, such a moving tribute to their loved ones.
